The document gate

A trip that will not move until it can.

Every other tool in this category sends a reminder. A reminder is advice, and advice loses to a customer on the phone asking why the truck has not left. This is a stop, not a nudge.

  1. 01Each stage of a trip declares the documents it requires, by cargo type and by who is involved.
  2. 02The gate resolves them against what already exists, so a carrier's insurance or a driver's licence counts without being uploaded again.
  3. 03What is genuinely missing is named, with who owes it and which trip it is holding.
  4. 04The stage will not advance until the list is empty. The block is enforced on the server, not in the browser, so it cannot be clicked past.
  5. 05Once it clears, the trip moves and the evidence stays attached to it permanently.

Upload once, never asked again

Documents hang off the carrier, the driver or the truck they describe, not off a shipment. The gate reads them through whatever the trip has assigned, so the same certificate is never requested twice.

A renewal is a new record. The old one stays, because a claim about a load from March needs March's paperwork.
